Last week, I finally gra<\/em>du<\/em><\/strong>ated! After the ceremony, my family and friends told me: \u201cCongra<\/em>tu<\/em><\/strong>lations\u201d <\/em>[questa parola \u00e8 un caso particolare*] and asked me: \u201cHow woul<\/em>d you<\/em><\/strong> like to celebrate?\u201d. We didn\u2019t realize that it was country night and ended up listening to songs on the ban<\/em>j<\/em><\/strong>o all night long. I know what you\u2019re thinking. We should have <\/em>j<\/em><\/strong>ust gone somewhere else but min<\/em>d you<\/em><\/strong>, we live in a small town and it was the only place open.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

La settimana scorsa finalmente mi sono diplomato. Meaning<\/em>: whip up\/fix up\/cook up<\/em> = prepare food (usually quickly)<\/em> (preparare da mangiare, spesso velocemente); whip up<\/em> = encourage strong emotions in people <\/em>(generare\/suscitare emozioni forti); fix up<\/em> = renovate <\/em>(sistemare\/aggiustare); cook up<\/em> = devise something for a particular situation (usually negative) <\/em>(escogitare, solitamente con connotazione negativa).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 6 - Word Ladder (1)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
